What is a Sneakerhead?  Simply put a sneakerhead is someone who is a knowledgeable collector of sneakers.  Sneakers are the passion for all sneakerheads.

Sneaker of the Week: 3/15/10

March 6th, 2010 marked the release of one of the most popular sneakers of all time.  Sneakerheads who missed last year’s release or just wanted to double up, had their calendar’s circled for the release of the Eggplant Foamposites.  This version of the Nike Air Foamposite One, sports the purple color similar to an eggplant,

which its nickname derives from.  Former NBA superstar Penny Hardaway made this shoes popular during his glory days.  I had to work the morning of the release, so I just got my pair this past saturday.  As always, I was able to get a good price on the shoes, below retail price.  Those who were not able to get a pair at their local retailers, can still grab a pair at, Citysole, Sneakerhead, and Sneakerfather.  I know the prices are greatly inflated, but if you’re willing to spend the money, these shoes are still obtainable!

Sneaker of the Week: 3/7/10

Sneaker of the Week is back!!  This week’s sneaker of the week is the retro release of the Neon Air Max 95’s.  First released back in 1995, these Air Max 95’s one of the most popular Air Max’s 95’s to be released.  Surprisingly, this retro release has not been moving as well as expected at Nike retailers, so they are still available for purchase at retail price!  I picked up a pair for myself this past friday…for half price of course!  You can cop yourself a pair at Finishline, Footaction, Citysole, and Pickyourshoes.  Stay tuned for next week’s Sneaker of the Week entry!
