It has been a long time, but it’s back. This week’s Sneaker of the Week is the Flu Games! I know these were released last november, but I just took these bad boys out of the closet today. I ave yet to wear them, but just looking at them and how fresh made me want to profile them. This edition of the Jordan Retro 12′s sports the black/red colorway Jordan rocked during the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. The are called the flu games because Jordan torched the Jazz 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. What made this performance more memorable was that Jordan was extremely sick with the flu! Located on the nubuck upper is a sick face with the number 97 and 38 on the sides of it to commemorate this classic moment!

March 6th, 2010 marked the release of one of the most popular sneakers of all time. Sneakerheads who missed last year’s release or just wanted to double up, had their calendar’s circled for the release of the Eggplant Foamposites. This version of the Nike Air Foamposite One, sports the purple color similar to an eggplant,

which its nickname derives from. Former NBA superstar Penny Hardaway made this shoes popular during his glory days. I had to work the morning of the release, so I just got my pair this past saturday. As always, I was able to get a good price on the shoes, below retail price. Those who were not able to get a pair at their local retailers, can still grab a pair at, Citysole, Sneakerhead, and Sneakerfather. I know the prices are greatly inflated, but if you’re willing to spend the money, these shoes are still obtainable!

Sneaker of the Week is back!! This week’s sneaker of the week is the retro release of the Neon Air Max 95′s. First released back in 1995, these Air Max 95′s one of the most popular Air Max’s 95′s to be released. Surprisingly, this retro release has not been moving as well as expected at Nike retailers, so they are still available for purchase at retail price! I picked up a pair for myself this past friday…for half price of course! You can cop yourself a pair at Finishline, Footaction, Citysole, and Pickyourshoes. This week’s edition of Sneaker of the Week should not come as a surprise. If you still do not know why 12/23/09 was one of the most anticipated days of the year then take off your kicks and do not buy another pair! 12/23/09 marked the release of one of the most popular Air Jordan shoes of all time, the Air Jordan Space Jam 11! People lined up outside of Jordan retailers all through the night in order to secure a pair of these popular shoes. As last yea with the 11/12 countdown pack, I was able to avoid lines and cop me a pair for half price! Sorry to those who missed out! If you are willing to spend a pretty penny for these, sneakerfather has restocked them!

This week’s Sneaker of the Week is the Nike Air 3, formally the KG Air 3. Although KG no longer rocks with nike these shoes are still a classic. I was able to pick these shoes up for the mere price of $40! I am hoping to pick up the white pair in the near future!
